Subaru of North Bay is committed to supporting local community initiatives. We strongly believe, to grow forward, you must give back, and as leaders in the community, we understand the importance of creating partnerships with local organizations who share our passion for helping others.
This December 2021, we relaunched our donation drive, Stuff a Subaru, and collaborated with the North Bay Food Bank. We managed to collect approximately 225 lbs of food and stuffed a Subaru Ascent with non- perishable food!
We also partnered with the North Bay and District Humane Society and donated items from their wishlist! We thank everyone who helped stuff a 2021 BRZ with donations for our Stuff a Subaru donation drive!
We take great pride in our community and have been doing what we can to give back and help North Bay prosper since 1987. Subaru of North Bay has supported and contributed to a number of causes over the years, below are the causes we currently actively support.
We are actively partnered with Canadore College & Nipissing University, and we are dedicated to providing graduates with meaningful, long-term employment in their field of study. We work directly with Canadore College & Nipissing University faculty to arrange employment for their professional graduates that meet job vacancies to help launch them into exciting careers in their respective fields.
North Bay Regional Health Centre has been providing quality care to North Bay and the surrounding communities for years. We have been proud supporters of the Health Centre for a number of years, recently reaching a total of $25,000 donated.
Nipissing Serenity Hospice looks to provide 24 hour palliative care including physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, and more in a natural, serene location right here in North Bay. We are happy to support this great cause.
The Buckle Up Challenge is an interactive challenge that demonstrates how quickly five students can buckle up their seat belt. The five-member team race not only against each other but against the clock to ascertain the fastest time to have their members rotate within five seats of the vehicle and buckle up. It reminds students that wearing a seatbelt is the single most effective way to reduce the risk of injury or death in a motor vehicle collision and it only takes a few seconds.
Last 2019, we wanted to prove just how much bigger love can be by filling an Ascent for the Gathering Place of canned goods, winter clothing and plenty more! The Team banded together with the help of the generous staff and customers alike!
Last October 2021, we showed our love and support towards RMHC Toronto's beneficiaries as we raised approximately $610 by participating in the Wear Your Stripes event.
Donations to our fundraising efforts will keep families with a seriously ill child together. Every $183 raised supports one family for one night of comfort at RMHC Toronto.
We volunteered at our local Mcdonald's for RMHC's McHappy day! Proceeds for the charity event will go towards RMHC beneficiaries in our community here in North Bay.
